London Wins Bid to Host the 4th World Tinnitus Congress
London Announced as Host City for the 4th World Tinnitus Congress and XV International Tinnitus Seminar
Global summit on tinnitus science and care to take place in June-July 2027
The Hashir International Institute is proud to announce that London has been selected to host the 4th World Tinnitus Congress (WTC) and XV International Tinnitus Seminar (ITS) from 30 June to 2 July 2027.
Following a competitive international bidding process, London was chosen for its world-class clinical research community, global accessibility, and leadership in interdisciplinary tinnitus care.
The congress will convene researchers, clinicians, innovators, and patient leaders from over 30 countries to explore the future of tinnitus science and care. Building on the legacy of the International Tinnitus Seminar—established in 1979—and the growing impact of the World Tinnitus Congress since its launch in 2017, WTC 2027 promises to be a landmark event in the global hearing health calendar.
“London is an iconic setting for a new era of tinnitus science,” said Dr Hashir Aazh, Congress President.
“This will be a historic moment for the international tinnitus community. It marks the first time the World Tinnitus Congress will be held in the UK, and the return of the International Tinnitus Seminar to UK after 28 years, following Professor Jonathan Hazell’s hosting of the 1999 meeting. We are excited to welcome the world to a congress that will challenge assumptions, deepen global collaboration, and redefine care for those affected by tinnitus.”
Further announcements on the programme, venue, and speaker faculty will follow in due course.
