A Glimpse of the Tinnitus Specialism Masterclass (March 2026, Belgium) and the World Tinnitus Congress (London 2027)
Free webinar announced by Hashir International Institute and ON-GEHOORD
A free educational webinar, jointly organised by the Hashir International Institute (United Kingdom) and ON-GEHOORD (Belgium), will take place on Wednesday 26 November 2025 at 6:00 PM (UK time).
Titled “A Glimpse of the Tinnitus Specialism Masterclass (March 2026, Belgium) and the World Tinnitus Congress (London 2027),” the session will highlight forthcoming opportunities for professional learning and international collaboration in tinnitus, hyperacusis, and misophonia care.
The webinar will feature Dr Hashir Aazh and Professor Bart Vink, who will reflect on developments in multidisciplinary tinnitus management and the growing role of shared clinical training initiatives across Europe.
Exploring Professional Development and Collaboration
The discussion will introduce the Tinnitus Specialism Masterclass, to be held in Belgium in 2026. The three-day course will offer practical training in cognitive-behavioural and audiological methods for clinicians working with tinnitus and sound intolerance. The masterclass forms part of ongoing collaborative efforts between audiologists and psychologists to promote evidence-based, integrated approaches to patient care.
In parallel, participants will hear about opportunities for continued online learning and supervision that enable practitioners worldwide to engage with structured clinical education and contribute to emerging research.
Connecting Education and Research
The webinar will also look ahead to the 4th World Tinnitus Congress (WTC) and 15th International Tinnitus Seminar, which will take place in London in June–July 2027.
Under the theme “From Mechanism to Meaning – The ABC of Tinnitus,” the Congress will gather researchers, clinicians, and patient representatives to exchange knowledge across neuroscience, audiology, psychology, and clinical practice.
The event aims to strengthen links between scientific discovery and day-to-day clinical application, encouraging dialogue that advances tinnitus care worldwide.
