Welcome to the 4th World Tinnitus Congress and XV International Tinnitus Seminar

Theme: From Mechanism to Meaning — The ABC of Tinnitus

You’re warmly invited to join us in London from 30 June to 2 July 2027, proudly hosted by the Hashir International Institute. This year’s theme, From Mechanism to Meaning, is inspired by T. S. Eliot’s timeless question: “Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge?” aiming to balance scientific advances in understanding the mechanisms of tinnitus with exploration of its lived experience and personal meaning.

The ABC of Tinnitus stands for Auditory science, Behavioural understanding, and Clinical innovation. These three pillars underpin the programme’s focus on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, while also drawing attention to current knowledge gaps and future directions.

With 11 scientific tracks, distinguished lectures, clinical guidelines and health policy round tables, WTC 2027 will help shape the future of tinnitus care.
Join us in London to connect with international leaders, explore new approaches, and contribute to a future in which tinnitus care is guided not only by knowledge, but also by wisdom.

Scientific Tracks at the 4th World Tinnitus Congress

Bridging Disciplines, Advancing Care

The 4th World Tinnitus Congress features eleven interdisciplinary scientific tracks, each led by subject experts and reflecting the complexity of tinnitus research and care. Tracks include neurophysiology, cognitive and emotional mechanisms, CBT, genetics, neuromodulation, audiology, somatosensory factors, pharmacology, clinical subtyping, medical causes, and auditory consciousness. This structure ensures both depth and cross-disciplinary dialogue, promoting scientific rigour and integration. From neuroimaging to personalised therapies, the programme supports innovation and translational insight. Whether you are a clinician, researcher, or stakeholder, the WTC tracks offer a comprehensive framework to advance stratified, multimodal, and personalised approaches to tinnitus science and clinical practice.
